A book in English authored by Sh. Abu Amina Bilal Philips in which he discusses some contemporary issues from an Islamic perspective regarding marriage and divorce, women's rights, criminal justice, foods, arts, modern sciences, economics, Muslim sects, etc.

The author says in the introduction of the second edition, “The overall purpose of this book is to acquaint the reader with the historical factors behind the formulation of Islamic law (Fiqh), in order that he or she may better understand how and why the various schools of Islamic law....

In this episode, Sh. Bilal Philips gives some examples of remembrance of Allah in our day-to-day life as in saying basmalah (in the name of Allah) and supplications, for example. Basmalah, for example, is said before eating, drinking and relieving oneself, and the supplications begin with saying Allahumah (O Allah).
