Mint is not a kind of perfume
Is mint considered to be one of the kinds of perfume which is not allowed in ihraam?
Praise be to Allaah.
Mint is not a kind of perfume, rather it is more like Persian basil, and Persian basil resembles yashmoom. Even though it has a pleasant fragrance it is not a kind of perfume, unlike the well known kind of basil which is a perfume whether it is fresh or dry.
