Towards Understanding Surat Yusuf
A series of episodes in English in which Sh. Yaser Qady (may Allah preserve him) explained Surat Yusuf and indicated its lessons and rules mentioned in it. It contains the story of Prophet Yusuf, his brothers, and the calamities he faced in Egypt and prison until being later saved by Allah. This sura was revealed to Prophet Muhammad in Mecca after Surat Hud during that critical period of his life when he and his followers faced hardships, especially after his losing his supporters: His affectionate wife Khadija, and his uncle Abu Talib, his good helper to the extent that it was called the year of sorrow.
